For the most part, Coach Carter is historically accurate.  The producers had to add some drama to make the movie more interesting.  The movie portrays most of the events correctly and gets the main points correct.  Coach Carter exaggerates the situation that Ken Carter had to deal with as the new Richmond High School Boys' Basketball Coach.  They had to add false parts of the movie to make it more "Hollywood like." 

         Coach Carter gets all the important points down throughout the movie.  The producers accurately portray the real-life story through their Hollywood version of the story.  This is a great movie that teaches many lessons and shows the story very well.
